It’s a significant disappointment for the Liverpool Academy graduate at a time when he would be eager to demonstrate his value to the new head coach, Arne Slot. Fortunately, the Englishman was able to leave the field with minimal assistance, so we remain hopeful that the injury isn’t severe.
However, with the exceptional quality of Alexis Mac Allister now available on the left side of the midfield trio, Jones faces a tough challenge in securing a place in the starting XI. While we believe in his talent, he needs to be on the pitch to prove it.
